Braemar Golf Course | Edina, Minnesota
2019 - ASGCA Design Excellence Award
The City of Edina, Minnesota, looked to Richard Mandell Golf Architecture to decrease flooding issues, environmental impact and maintenance costs at their 27-hole course through our Renovation Business Plan process. The result was a new eighteen hole course design that achieved these goals while restoring the inherent Oak Savannah-dominated character of the site. Wide fairways, cross-hazards, and green contours that force golfers to make decisions and challenge them from both ends of the spectrum. The new Braemar Golf Course has already been honored with a Design Excellence Award by the American Society of Golf Course Architects.

Skydoor Golf Course serves as an anchor for the development of the Zhangjiajie Province, China. 1996 - DuPont North America Safety, Health, and Environment Excellence Award
Seaford Golf & Country Club in Seaford, Delaware, was originally a nine hole Alfred Tull design. The club and the DuPont Corporation, through a joint venture, hired Richard Mandell Golf Architecture to create a nine hole addition to their existing nine hole course. The result is a cohesive eighteen hole course that serves as the primary social center for workers at the adjacent DuPont factory.
Easton Club Golf Course | Easton, Maryland
The Easton Club in Easton, Maryland, was one of the first golf course residential developments to be completed within Maryland’s sensitive ecosystem, the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area. Situated on 283 acres, The Easton Club boasts an eighteen hole golf course surrounded by 342 detached and attached single-family home sites. The golf course was routed through tidal wetlands and a twenty-acre non-tidal basin that are enjoyed by golfers and residents alike.
