Hole #4: Par 4 (350-328-286-244)

Another inspired putting surface from Deal (Royal Cinque Ports) is the fourth green which literally replicates a 10’ diameter pipe being dropped from the heavens instead of MacDonald’s pebbles from a foot or two above the sandbox. Originally conceived with two pads on the back separated by a swale in between, once we started shaping the green we decided to keep the swale a bit more defined as it moved closer to the front of the hole.
