I am a fan of green perimeters bisected by mounds. I am also a fan of isolated mounds in the front of greens such as here as they place a premium on club selection for the better golfer and still challenge the golfer to negotiate it with a chip from in front. The nose coming off the back side of this mound helps to divide the putting surface.
