RICHARD MANDELL

Richard Mandell's dedication to the game of golf runs deeper than his primary avocation of golf architecture.  His insight into the game has afforded Richard the opportunity to accomplish much more in the industry.

Richard graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. His years with Dan Maples Design and Denis Griffiths & Associates exposed him to high-end domestic and international work in an apprenticeship with two of the best in the business, both former American Society of Golf Course Architects Presidents.

Richard has a strong knowledge of civil engineering, acquired in his previous venture with Whole In One Design Group. As a Principal of Whole In One Design Group, he was lead architect on many projects where the environmental work and civil engineering were completed by Whole In One Design Group in-house.

Richard's work has been nationally recognized for his Creekside Golf & Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia with a nomination for Best New Course in both Golf Digest Magazine and Georgia Golf News. His expansion of Seaford Golf & Country Club won the 1996 DuPont North America Safety, Health, and Environmental Excellence Award.
